Faux Faberge Walnut

This 65cm (25½ inches) necklace was made with a walnut shaped pendant which was originally one of a pair of earrings.
It was made for the Mother of my friend, Helen, and the earrings belonged to her Mum. She would never wear the earrings, she said, since they were a little too big for her style. So this necklace is from Helen to her Mum for her birthday.
It contains quite a variety of stones and beads. The stars of the show are the Lapis tubes, but there are also two pairs of green Aventurine beads, a few Garnet tubes scattered around, some Swarovski crystal bicones, various colours of larger sized glass beads and a few seed beads. It's a somewhat unlikely mix but I feel that it's worked well together.
Faux Faberge Walnut is chained together securely with gold coloured wire using wrapped loops almost all the way around except for four sets of spiral loops which form part of the chain.
As this is a longer necklace there is no clasp needed. It will simply slip over the head.
I'm quite pleased with how nicely it turned out and I really hope that Helen's Mum likes it.
