For my mums birthday I made her a bookmark. I said to Jade "what's the betting she'll hang it in a window instead of putting it in a book?"
She's hanging it in a window.
Frog in a Lily Pond features a silver plated frog charm, with bali silver, swarovski crystals, and seed beads. The gorgeous "purple dreams" lampwork bead is by Cory L D Walker, of Condor Glass.
Designed to sit flat inside a book, with the decorated parts peeking out of the bottom and hanging down the spine from the top, this bookmark design is a stunner - I found it at created expression, by Ines Hardke. Ines is quite happy for people to be inspired by her work. As she says, they're all different anyway!
Frog in a Lily Pond was mounted on black card, painted with a lily pad and pink lotus flower, with a rhyme written around the edge of the pad.
