Bugs On A Screendoor is a very industrial looking piece! It's based on brass mesh, with fine silver wrapped around the edges, running down the centre, snaking across the front, and dotting the screen. Heavily textured, and deeply patinaed, the end result is quite striking.
Amongst the silver "bugs" dotting the screen, is a single pale lavender cubic zirconia. The pendant is approx 4.5cm (approx 1¾") long including the bail, and approximately 2cm wide (almost 1"). Bugs On A Screendoor is not supplied with a chain, but the 2mm ball chain it's photographed on is available from Silver Insanity
Bugs On A Screendoor is quite chunky, but it's not heavy. It would probably be just as at home on a leather thong, or rubber choker as it would on a silver chain.
Formed by hand, from PMC (precious metal clay), on brass mesh, and then fired, the silver parts of this piece are 99.9% solid silver, with a pale lavender cubic zirconia.
Please bear in mind that an "organic" piece is not perfectly smooth, nor perfectly shaped, and whilst this is organic, it's still very industrial!
The price is AU$90.00 including postage within Australia, or AU$95.00 including postage internationally. Registration is not possible for international mail, and no responsibility is taken for lost postal items. (but what's that in my money?)
