This is another of my new favourite type of bracelet which I've been making for people who love semi-precious gemstones but who appreciate a chunkier style of jewellery.
Rolling Blue is similar to the others, but with a twist. Instead of being edged with pairs of smaller beads, this one is put together between two rows of fine sterling silver chain.
The Blue Onyx beads in Rolling Blue have been painstakingly chained to the beads beside it on sterling silver wire resulting in a bracelet that is 2cm (1¾ inches) wide.
The whole thing looks quite solid, but is absolutely fluid. In fact, it feels so nice to move this piece around in your hands, to fold it around your fingers and to twist it into a rope that you might find it difficult to actually leave it on your wrist!
Rolling Blue is made to fit like a cuff and is held together with a sterling silver tube clasp which slides into itself for a secure fit. It measures 18¼cm (just under 7¼ inches) around.
