The focal point of Scribbly Gum is a delicate piece of curved Paua shell decorated with a free hanging swirl and squiggle of sterling silver. This pattern is carried through the rest of the piece, using the same square wire, by two pairs of connectors at the sides of the neck.
The colours of the Paua shell are reflected perfectly in the body of the necklace with Green Aventurine, Moss Agate and Hematite.
Scribbly Gum measures to a full mid-length of 44cm (17¼ inches) which is how it is displayed in the pictures above. It can be adjusted and worn closer to the neck by changing the links on which the gorgeous Bali Silver s-clasp is hooked. As the s-clasp is double-ended, you can unhook either or both ends of the sterling silver chain and make the necklace as short as 40cm (15¾ inches).
The Paua Shell pendant itself measures 4cm (1½ inches) by 3cm (just under 1¼ inches), not including the bail.
