Sterling silver wire and sterling silver beads float amongst silver seed beads, hematite beads, coin pearls, and gemstones, all to support a wonderous paua shell pendant.
The lustre and colour of this shell are phenomenal. It glows! Green, purple, silver - it just depends on how the light catches it. Silver wire is laced through the holes in the shell, supporting it at the end of the beaded part. The clasp is at the front, and nestles behind the paua shell. A small sterling silver parrot clasp fastens this necklace. It's approx 48cm long (approx 19"), plus the pendant, which is approx 6cm (2¼") long, by 3cm (1¼") at it widest point.
Some of the gemstones featured on Silver from the Sea are: amethyst, malachite, blue topaz, iolite, peridot, apatite. My signature M bead also finds a place in there.
This is really different, the paua shell is an amazing piece of natures artwork. I could almost see a mermaid snatching this piece away!
The price is AU$60.00 including postage within Australia, or AU$65.00 including postage internationally. Registration is not possible for international mail, and no responsibility is taken for lost postal items. (but what's that in my money?)
