From the mediaeval glory of the chiastolite Stone Cross, to the modernity of the simplistic arrangement of carnelian, jet and tiny polished sea urchin beads, this necklace is simply gorgeous.
Stone Cross measures approx 44cm/17¼", extendable to 50cm/19¾" using the extension chain, which has a bali silver charm on the end, with a tiny cross design, mirroring natures geometry in the chiastolite centrepiece. The chiastolite is approx 2cm wide. (just under an inch.)
The gemstone beads are interspersed with bali silver beads and spacers, and the piece is finished off with my signature M bead, and a bali silver hook clasp. The muted pinks and browns of the sea urchins, and the golden oranges of the carnelian blend beautifully with the black of the jet. All of these colours harmonise magically with the black and golden brown of the chiastolite cross.
