The Nether Leaf is a leaf from a tree in my garden, painted with layers of silverclay.
The Nether Leaf is from my New Zealand Christmas Tree - or Metrosideros excelsus. The Nether Leaf is approx 5cm (approx 2") long, including the bail which is a coil of fine silver, and approximately 3cm (1⅛") across the widest part. The Nether Leaf is not supplied with a chain, but the 2mm ball chain it's photographed on is available from Silver Insanity
The Nether Leaf looks quite chunky and heavy, but it's actually quite light - like a leaf! The holes in the pendant were natural holes in the leaf. Depends how you look at it, but it's been suggested that this has a suggestion of anatomy to it's appearance.
Formed by hand, from PMC (precious metal clay) and then fired, this piece is 99.9% solid silver.
The price is AU$70.00 including postage within Australia, or AU$75.00 including postage internationally. Registration is not possible for international mail, and no responsibility is taken for lost postal items. (but what's that in my money?)
