The Trees is inspired by Twirling Leaves, since someone asked if it was still available. It's not, so I've made something a little like it.
The pendant is a sterling silver wrapped five sided green striped Jasper. It's approximately 3cm (1¼") across the widest part in two directions (vertically and horizontally).
Featuring poppy jasper, rainforest jasper, picture jasper, along with faceted iolite, garnet, amethyst, peridot, carnelian, citrine, sapphire, emerald, chalcedony, freshwater pearls, tiny rubies, turquoise, malachite - in pink and green, bloodstone, tourmaline, moss agate, snowflake obsidian, sardonyx, black onyx, nevada lapis, lapis lazuli, moonstone, sodalite, tiger iron, red tigers eye, serpentine, apatite, blue laced agate, green garnet, honey calcite, amber, jet, bali silver and sterling silver, this necklace couldn't come close to containing all the colours of the bush. But I've done my best. (I've also done my best to name them all!) Of course, there's also my signature M bead!
The sterling parrot clasp is at the front, just above the pendant. This necklace is not symmetrical - the leaves are not positioned equally on either side. The smallest leaf is silver plated pewter, the others are all bali silver.
It's quite long, the pendant falling nicely into a cleavage. From end to end it's 74cm (29") long, not counting the pendant, which falls approx 5cm (2¾") from bail to bottom.
It's gorgeous.
