I don't think this is ugly at all, but this beautiful turquoise disc is actually sold as "ugly turquoise". It may not be very blue, but I think it has a primal character all of it's own.
It's earthy. It's simple. It's gorgeous.
It's strung simply on a suede leather thong, wrapped with sterling silver wire, and with my signature M bead free running on the thong too. A double spinner for a fiddler. The donut and the M are both perfect for fiddling.
A sterling silver parrot clasp closes this pendant, but the thong ends are base metal only, they're not sterling.
This piece is approx 54cm (21¼") long, with the donut itself being approx 35.cm (1½") across.
Please note, this stone is not perfectly round, nor is it perfectly smooth. It has fissures, and dents, and plenty of character.
The price is AU$22.00 including postage within Australia, or AU$27.00 including postage internationally. Registration is not possible for international mail, and no responsibility is taken for lost postal items. (but what's that in my money?)
