I'd like to be
under the sea
in an octopuses garden
in the shade.
Under the Sea measures approx 52.5cm/20½", extendable to 55cm/21¾" using the extension post, which is adorned with a tiny turquoise bead, an amethyst bead, and tiny sea green and sea blue seed beads.
A bali silver turtle (approx 1.5cm long) swims in the centre of this necklace, and a tiny sterling silver starfish is dangling off the reef a little further along.
Amongst the few sea green and blue seed beeds are many treasures, pearls of all colours, shapes and sizes. Coral beads, tiny sea shells, and an absolute shoal of gemstones - turquoise nuggets and beads, yellow serpentine, faceted iolite and bricks, moonstone bricks and beads, lapis lazuli, amethyst, carnelian, emerald, garnet, apatite, rhodonite, unakite, mother of pearl, sodalite, malachite, jade, blue topaz, tourmaline, citrine.. the list goes on. It's so difficult to list them all. There is, of course, my signature M bead.
